WRPPA Life Membership Award

Life Membership shall be awarded to Wellington Regional Primary Principals Association members for outstanding and distinguished service to principalship within the Wellington Region.

The award of Life Membership of the Wellington Regional Primary Principals Association is the highest award the Association can bestow to acknowledge the outstanding contributions that the recipient has made to leadership in the Wellington Region.

Nominees must have:

• Demonstrated leadership within the WRPPA Executive

• Promoted the role of principalship within the Wellington Region

• Provided support for principals within the Wellington Region

• Be an active financial member of WRPPA (via their school).

The Process:

• Nomination for the award must be made in writing to the Executive on the form provided. It needs to be nominated, seconded and emailed to the President of WRPPA

• The President will present all nominations at termly Executive meetings for discussion and if passed by a majority, a life membership will be awarded

• The life membership will be awarded at an appropriate occasion e.g. End of Year Hui

Life Members will:

• Be added to the WRPPA mailing list to ensure they receive minutes of WRPPA meetings, 

• Be invited to WRPPA events 

• Certificate of acknowledgement
