WRPPA HARDSHIP GRANT
One of WRPPA’s key goals is to provide professional development and collegial support for our members. We are aware that some members face tight budgeting constraints that make it difficult, and in many cases, impossible to attend professional learning opportunities. WRPPA would like to ensure our members who need support, are offered an opportunity to attend Wellington or New Zealand conferences. These conferences are an important networking and professional development opportunity.
The WRPPA Executive is offering funding to assist principals who are unable to attend due to hardship/budgeting constraints.
In 2025 we are offering to fund the following:
5 x WRPPA Symposium registrations (March)
1 x early bird Aotearoa New Zealand-based conference registration
In each case, the cost of registration will be reimbursed to successful applicants upon receipt of an invoice. In order to be eligible for this fund, you must also have BOT approval to cover any other expenses you may incur.
Please note, that travel to and from each conference and any accommodation required will be the responsibility of the applicant’s school.
Other notes:
The WRPPA Exec (or a quorum of) will select successful applicants
Any conflict of interest needs to be declared
Any WRPPA Exec member applying will be removed from the selection panel
